Main purpose of post
Experience of admin/secretarial/PA work including shorthand, audio & copy typing skills. Ability to:- type to acceptable speeds and to an advanced standard; use spreadsheet packages & other software/mainframe programmes; provide and efficient courteous service to the public, other agencies etc.; maintain & update diaries; maintain effective filing & management information systems; initiate responses & distribute required correspondence; service & minute panels/meetings as required; maintain sub-imprest/petty cash accounts in accordance with financial procedures; maintain budget monitoring systems, providing regular information within set deadlines
