Apprenticeships & Employability Officer

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for an Apprenticeships & Employability Officer on a 3 months contract with the possibility of further extension.

Main responsibilities:

1. To take an active role in any internal and external Apprenticeship audits as required and directed by the Head of Apprenticeships and Professional Pathways
2. To support the Apprenticeship recruitment process by advertising vacancies on DAS and elsewhere on behalf of employers. Shortlist applicants, arrange interviews and notify applicants of outcome.
3. To ensure that Trainer/Assessor submit their monthly trackers and that they are completed to the standard required and stored on the Base.
4. To take an active role in any internal and external Apprenticeship audits as required and directed by the Head of Apprenticeships and Professional Pathways
5. To support the Apprenticeship recruitment process by advertising vacancies on behalf of employers. Shortlist applicants, arrange interviews and notify applicants of outcome.
6. To ensure that Trainer/Assessor submit their monthly trackers and that they are completed to the standard required.

Requirements:

• Maths and English at level 2 or above – essential
• Business Administration qualification at level 2 of above – essential
• Business Administration Apprenticeship or Customer Service Apprenticeship – desirable
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
• High level of attention to detail
• Organisation of workload and time management
• Problem solving
• IT, including but not limited to: Office 365 and associated applications
• Proactive and able to use own initiative
