Change Implementation Manager

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Change Implementation Manager on a 3 months contract with a possibility of extension.

Main accountabilities:

• Act as strategic delivery lead for the Implementation of the restructure in Housing Management, Housing Needs, NRPF and Business Improvement, Strategy and Performance Improvement Modernising Transformation Programme
• Ensure that the Modernising Transformation Programme delivers against the strategic vision of the service that enables the Housing Operations service to meet its future challenges, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure best use of limited resources, providing the strategic housing advice, insight, intelligence, and support needed.
• Continually review, update and report on risks and opportunities, advising how the risks can be mitigated and the opportunities exploited.
• Proactively identify trends and changes in the operating environment (e.g., legislation, technology, policy, etc.) that could impact the delivery of the modernising housing operations transformation programme delivery; provide advice and collaborate on potential solutions.
• Act as the strategic lead for all Housing Operations interfaces with Human Relations relating to the restructures communication and engagement activity linked to the modernising housing operations transformation.
• The key issues will steer through the job evaluations, restructure proposals coordinate consultation arrangements, benchmark with other clients and review the implementation and effectiveness of the new structure after three months, six and 12 months.

Requirements:

• CIPD

• Evidence of successful human resources management restructures in a multidisciplinary environment, business planning, quality, and performance management resolution of conflicting priorities, applying rigorous planning challenge and appropriate control procedures.

• Experience of delivering projects across the place, technology and paperless workstreams on three major smarter working programmes in Local Authorities.
• Project Management/Change Management qualification (Prince, Agile, Prosci or equivalent)
