Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Disability & Home Improvement Team Leader on a 3 months contract with a possibility of an extension.
Purpose of the role – The post holder will be responsible for the supervision, management and direction of the Disability and Home Improvement Team (DFG Team), the above structure chart provided reflects current resources and may change in the future depending on the needs of the service. The post holder will be expected to manage expenditure decisions within available budgets and be responsible for the day to day monitoring of the Disabled Facilities Grant expenditure and fee income, and for demonstrating Value for Money in the delivery of the service.
Monitor grant applications against statutory timescales, budget position and provide update reports to management.
The post holder will be required to visit vulnerable households in their homes so will be an essential car user and will be required to use Council laptops.
