Educational Psychologist

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for an Educational Psychologist on a 6 months contract initially with a possibility of further extension.

As an Educational Psychologist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and supporting children and young people with a range of educational needs. From conducting psychological assessments to providing evidence-based interventions and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, your work will directly impact the educational outcomes and well-being of the individuals you support.

Key Responsibilities:
Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to identify learning difficulties, developmental delays, and emotional or behavioral challenges.
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop personalized support plans and interventions.
Providing consultation and guidance to school staff on best practices for promoting positive mental health and inclusive education.
Delivering training workshops and seminars to enhance the knowledge and skills of educational professionals.
Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and practices to improve educational provision and outcomes.
