Environmental Health Officer – Commercial Noise

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has an opportunity for an Environmental Health Officer on a month’s contract with a possibility of extension.

Duties:

  • To assist with noise investigations and clearance of a backlog of noise related work
  • Noise monitoring (commercial noise sources)
  • Installing noise monitoring equipment and reviewing results
  • Complaint investigation
  • Commenting on licensing applications from a public nuisance standpoint
  • Event support

Requirements:

  • Diploma / MSc in acoustics
  • Experience of Local Authority enforcement
