Inspection and Business Improvement Lead

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for an Inspection and Business Improvement Lead on a 3 months contract with a possibility of further extension.

Main purpose of the role:

• Oversee and drive forward our client’s inspection readiness programme
• Support Lead Directors with the planning, development and delivery of inspection readiness, subsequent outcomes and agreed improvement initiatives
• Project manage effective planning, reporting and communication of inspection and improvement initiatives
• Manage staff seconded or assigned to support inspections and associated improvement projects

Main accountabilities:

Lead on:

• the detailed planning, management, and coordination of inspection activity for children’s statutory inspections and other quality and improvement initiatives
• project planning and coordination of actions required to improve services in line with inspection outcomes, good practice, and standards.

Develop the organisational practice and competence of Children and Young People’s Services in evidence and data gathering, self-assessment reporting and evaluation.

In-depth knowledge of legislation, regulations, and policies related to statutory inspection frameworks for Children’s Services including youth justice is essential to be successfull for this role.
