Project Manager

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Project Manager on a 3 months contract with a possibility of further extension.

The Project Manager will manage a number of projects from inception through to closure, delivering products and services within agreed time, quality and cost parameters. They will lead project teams and develop relationships with stakeholders to ensure success.

Main areas of responsibility:

• Ensuring there is clear agreement about the objectives, required outcomes, business impacts, delivery approach and sequence of initiatives to be delivered.
• Plan at the level appropriate to the complexity of the project. This could include transition state planning through to project delivery schedules.
• Plan, monitor and control project revenue and capital budgets, in compliance with regulations, to meet the targets set by the Programme Manager.
• Successfully deliver several diverse projects at once and identify and address critical ‘hot spots’
• Work with change managers to ensure that the appropriate business teams create successful business readiness and change capacity plans to accept, and successfully exploit, the project deliverables

Requirements:

• Project management qualification or relevant experience
• Experience of working on projects
• Experience of working with real estate development and capital projects
• Experience of working in Local Government
