Senior Finance Business Partner

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Senior Finance Business Partner on a 2 months contract with the possibility of further extension.

Main responsibilities:

• To contribute to a solution-focussed, innovative, financial management function that enables the effective allocation of resources to outcomes, in order to ensure value for money for the public purse.
• To ensure the provision of professional and evidence-based management information to support the long-term sustainability of the client and its trusted partners.
• To ensure a commercial ethos is embedded across the client so that any decision taken is done so following an assessment of commercial viability and opportunity.
• To provide a proactive customer focussed team that supports the achievement of the client and its partners’ long-term vision.

Essential knowledge and experience:

• Technical experience in statutory accounts for local authority
• Knowledge of statutory return completion and submissions such as Revenue Outturn
• Ability to interrogate systems and ideally Oracle experience Fusion
