Strategy and Commissioning Officer

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Strategy and Commissioning Officer on a 6 months contract with a possibility of further extension.

Working with the Head of Service for Strategic Commissioning (Children’s) and other members of the Strategy, Commissioning and Performance Team, this role will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction and vision of Children’s Services by overseeing the development and implementation of effective strategies and policies.

The primary responsibility will be to analyse complex issues, provide strategic advice, and develop policy recommendations to support our client’s objectives.

The post holder will drive the development and delivery of high-quality strategic programmes on a wide range of subject areas on high-profile, cross-cutting pieces of work in support of the Directorate priorities. They will lead, plan, develop and deliver an expert professional service, testing innovative ways of how our client can approach some of the most pressing challenges facing the client, including the approach to early help and intervention.
