Virtual School Education Officer – SO1

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for a Virtual School Education Officer on a 3 months contract with the possibility of extension.

The post holder has statutory duties to fulfil, involving the review of termly personal education plans for their caseload of around 35 Looked After Children and to challenge schools to deliver agreed targets for individual children.

The responsibilities will include:

  • chairing and writing PEPS for Looked After Children;
  • Monitoring PPP usage;
  • Ensuring that the educational needs of Looked After Children are met

This role is on a hybrid working model.

The post holder must have an Enhanced DBS Check.
