Asset Manager

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for an Asset Manager on a 6 months contract with a possibility of further extension.

Main purpose of the role:

The Asset Manager will analyse the information our client holds on their buildings from multiple sources and will identify where RAAC concrete may have been used and will report this to the project working group so further investigative action can be taken where necessary. The work will be undertaken mainly through a desktop review of our client’s sites and through speaking with stakeholders however visits may be required as appropriate to deliver the best outcome for the exercise.

Requirements:

• A strong knowledge of the property sector with relevant accreditation (e.g., MRICS / Assoc RICS/ IOSH / NEEBOSH).
• A knowledge of the commercial property and occupational property sector.
• A knowledge of the RAAC product and its usage would be beneficial however on site training with our RAAC surveyor will be provided.
• Experience of working collaboratively with a number of specialists both internal and externally.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with differing teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to analyse and report complex information from a variety of source
