Building Control Surveyor

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Building Control Surveyor on a 3 months contract with a possibility of further extension.

Main purpose of the role:

  • To carry out site inspections and plan checking in accordance with the Building Regulations.
  • To work as a senior (professional) member of a multi-disciplinary team of specialist professionals in Building Control surveying, structural engineering, fire safety and building services
  • Ensuring that all functions of the Building Control Service are effectively managed on the jobs/projects for which the Level 2 Building Control Surveyor has responsibility, either in total or for which he/she has responsibility for the time being.
