Debt Recovery Officer

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Debt Recovery Officer on a 3 months contract with the possibility of further extension.

Main purpose of the role:

You will be responsible for managing a case load of former tenant accounts.

You will need to communicate with former tenants and negotiate repayment plans.

The post holder will also be responsible for tracing former tenants, making referrals to an external debt collector, conducting probate checks, making referrals to the legal department and writing reports to request a write off.
