Housing Standards Manager

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Housing Standards Manager on a 3 months contract initially with a possibility of further extension.

Purpose of the role:

To manage the client’s Housing Standards services including Clearance, Home Improvements, Empty Properties, Selective Licensing, HMOs, Enforcement and Healthy Homes services; to ensure that private sector housing programmes are successfully implemented, monitored and delivered on time and within the capital programme budget available and that housing standards continue to improve.

You will need to be an energetic and inspirational leader, ready to inspire a multi-disciplinary team of 27 to deliver wide ranging services to an excellent standard.

We are looking for an innovative and creative manager with excellent communication skills and experience in the delivery of private sector housing services, but also someone who is keen for the responsibility to put your own stamp on how the service can be further developed.
