HR Partner

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an HR Partner on a 5 month contract with the possibility of an extension.

Main responsibilities:

• Supporting Leisure Services following the insourcing of the client’s Leisure contract.
• Supporting, coaching, challenging and empowering Directorate line managers in managing people issues, as well as developing and embedding the new service.
• Finds solutions to problems relating to strategic, policy or legal constraints or requirements.
• Understands local issues in the Directorates and takes action based on the implications from an HR perspective.

Requirements:

• Good TUPE knowledge and experience is required for this role, with excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Experience of dealing with local trade union (TU) representatives in relation to individual cases or local collective issues.
