Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO)

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) on a 3 months contract with a possibility of further extension.

Purpose of the role:

Responsible for ensuring that the Authority fulfils its obligations for managing allegations against staff and volunteers working with children in any setting within the area and is compliant with legislation and local procedures.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to degree standard.
  • Social work qualification
  • Enhanced DBS & barred list check (Child & adult) on the update service
