Service Manager – Care Leavers Service

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Service Manager – Care Leavers Service on a 3 months contract with the possibility for further extension.

The service manager will need a good understanding of the duties and requirement to meet Care in Care’s needs including safeguarding. Among other things, you will lead on developing good practice and statutory compliance, supporting robust and reflective management oversight and improve our KPI performance where necessary.

The service also needs to be prepared for Ofsted focused visits, especially ensuring social workers and family support workers have a good support development offer.

You will be involved in promoting awareness of corporate parenting.

You will need to work in partnership with their peers and partners and be able to influence change effectively.
