Quantity Surveyor

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor on a 3 months contract with the possibility of further extension.

Main accountabilities:

  • Administering on Repairs contract with Main contractors
  • Liaising with Contract managers, Budget holders and Contractors
  • Reconciliation of internal Revenue and Capital budget lines
  • Timely administration of all work orders from initial to invoice stage
  • Any ad hoc duties as required by Commercial manger and Senior QS

Required Skills:

  • QS degree or equivalent preferred
  • Commercially astute surveying and estimating
  • Risk management
  • Contract negotiation
  • Invoicing / budget and WIP control
