Service Manager – Children in Care Service

Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a Service Manager – Children in Care Service on a 3 months initial contract with the possibility of further extension.

The new service manager will need a good understanding of the duties and requirement to meet Care in Care’s needs including safeguarding.

Main accountabilities

• Among other things you will lead on developing good practice and statutory compliance, supporting robust and reflective management oversight and improve our KPI performance where necessary
• Involving in preparation for Ofsted focused visits, especially ensuring social workers and family support workers have a good support development offer.
• You will be involved in promoting awareness of corporate parenting.
• You will need to work in partnership with their peers and partners and be able to influence change effectively.
